As a key member of the finance team, the Controller will be responsible for overseeing global financial controls, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, and driving process improvements to support Pixalate's growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SaaS or digital advertising, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about scaling financial operations across multiple regions.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of global accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition across multiple entitiesEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and IFRSLead the month-end and year-end close processes globally, including consolidations, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparationDevelop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies across all jurisdictionsManage global tax compliance strategy and coordinate with regional tax advisors and regulatory agenciesWork closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies across multiple jurisdictionsImplement and optimize financial systems and automation tools to improve efficiency and scalabilityPartner with FP&A to provide insights into financial performance and business strategySupport fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting effortsMentor and develop accounting team members globally, fostering a culture of continuous improvementCollaborate with finance leadership across North America, EMEA, and APAC regionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification required7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles with global scopeStrong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, including revenue recognition standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15)Experience managing multi-entity consolidations and intercompany transactionsExperience in SaaS, digital advertising, or technology industries preferredProficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar)Previous experience with a Series A/B stage business scaling globallyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailExcellent communication and leadership abilities across different time zones and culturesMust have some availability during North American business hoursAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple prioritiesAbout Pixalate Pixalate offers the market-leading fraud protection, privacy, and compliance analytics platform for Connected TV (CTV), Mobile Apps, and Websites.Our platform has been used to unearth multiple high-profile criminal and illegal surveillance cases, including:Gizmodo:
