Lauderdale, FL, GA Telesis is seeking an Aviation Investment Analyst to join our Leasing, Investment, Finance, and Trading division (LIFT). The LIFT division specializes in the investment, trading, and leasing of commercial aircraft and engines, providing tailored financing solutions to airlines globally. This position involves analyzing a large volume of high-value transactions, with the successful candidate responsible for conducting investment analysis and supporting management in making critical investment decisions. This role is based on-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL. **Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.Responsibilities:Conduct investment analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling and present net value (NPV) analysis, for aircraft and engine acquisitions, leases, and salesDevelop investment recommendations using structured finance principles, risk assessment, and exit strategiesEvaluate lease agreements, maintenance projections, and market trends to assess opportunities and risksPartner with business development teams to structure, price, and prioritize high-value investmentsIntegrate technical, economic, and market intelligence into investment decisions, including fleet planning and supply-demand dynamicsStay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, OEM developments, and macroeconomic factors affecting the airline and air cargo sectorsSupport portfolio management by tracking asset performance, optimizing monetization strategies, and providing financial insightsQualifications:Advanced Excel proficiency for financial modeling and scenario analysisBachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration abilities for cross-functional teamworkAbility to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, high-volume investment environmentPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment underwriting or a related roleExperience in the aviation industry or structured financeCheck out how GA Telesis is Intelligently Defining the FUTURE of Aviation and Aerospace by following us on
