Unlock your potential Job Summary and Qualifications The Laundry Technicianis responsible forthe overall processing of linens and related duties to achieve clean and sanitized linens for our hospitals and facilities. The Laundry Aide position is essential in ensuring the laundry infection control policy and procedures are adhered to for the safety of our patients. What You Will Do In This Role You will receive, weigh and log soiled linens from hospitals. You will visually inspect linens for damages and unserviceability. You will sort soiled linens according to wash formula and type as well as assist in the loading and unloading of washers. You will properly fold,stackand tie linens for orders andassistwith the loading and unloading of vendor and supply trucks. You will assist with cleaning the laundry area and equipment as well as the break room and restrooms. What Qualifications You Will Need Medical City Lewisville is a full-service 190+ bed medical and surgical facility. We offer a broad spectrum of care to the communities of southern Denton County. Our patient tower has two floors dedicated to womenu2019s services. We have a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Medical City Lewisville is a Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center.
