Supporting tasking that involves engineering development; integration and interface design analysis; installation, fielding, field analysis, operation, maintenance, and testing of networks to include data communications hardware and softwareDeveloping and implementing network designs in accordance with contract requirements and industry best practices to support robust and secure communicationsConfiguring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network hardware and software to ensure continuous operational performanceConducting comprehensive network performance evaluations and diagnostic testing to identify and resolve connectivity issuesImplementing security protocols and measures as prescribed by the SOW/PWS to maintain the integrity of communications and dataCollaborating cross-functionally with IT, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate network operations within broader system architectures#LI-TF1FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING0-3 years experience in a computer network architect roleBachelor’s degree in systems engineering, cyber security engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information systems or other engineering degreeDemonstrated proficiency in designing and executing network architecture solutions, including routing, switching, and firewall implementationsSkilled in configuring and maintaining network hardware and software in compliance with stringent DoD requirementsProven ability to analyze network performance metrics to troubleshoot and optimize connectivity and security functionsOne or more of the following: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Security+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA-Security)Possess an Active DoD Secret Security ClearanceFamiliarity with advanced network virtualization and cloud-based networking technologies to enhance system flexibility and scalabilityProficiency in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds for real-time performance evaluationDemonstrated capability to quickly adapt to emerging cybersecurity threats and evolving networking technology trendsExperience in collaborative project environments, showcasing strong communication skills and a proactive approach to team-based problem-solvingSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVELTo be determinedScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
