Analyzing and monitoring enterprise security systems to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and non-compliance issues, initiating appropriate mitigation measuresDeveloping, implementing, and reviewing comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and plans in alignment with DoD specifications and industry best practicesConducting regular risk assessments and collaborating with IT and cybersecurity teams to remediate identified security gaps and strengthen overall defensesLeading incident response efforts by coordinating investigations, developing remediation strategies, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholdersPreparing and presenting detailed security reports and technical documentation to senior management to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives#LI-TF1FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING10 plus years experience in an information security analyst roleThree plus years of experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity support of DoD component enterprise-wide IT systemsFive plus years of the required experience must include practical computer security experience in secure network and system design, analysis, procedure/test generation, test execution, and implementation of computer/network security mechanismsBachelor’s degree in operations research, mathematics, physics, computer science, financial management, or other technical fieldDemonstrated ability to develop, implement, and maintain robust information security programs in compliance with DoD standards, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systemsProficient in performing comprehensive risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security threats across enterprise networksOne or more of the following: Certified Information System Security Professional - Engineering (CISSP-ISSEP) Certified Information System Security Professional - Architect (CISSP-ISSAP) or similar (or ability to obtain within 6 months)Possess an Active DoD TS Security ClearanceFamiliarity with advanced security information and event management (SIEM) systems and threat intelligence platforms to enhance proactive monitoring and incident responseProven ability to manage and lead cross-functional security projects, with strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholdersExperience with cloud security frameworks and emerging cybersecurity technologies to support innovative and scalable security solutionsAdvanced troubleshooting skills and proficiency in developing automated security controls and scripts to optimize system defensesSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVELTo be determinedScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
