This role helps prepare and present materials to secure contracts and expand business opportunities. The DCLD provides support to Program Directors, Clinical Supervisors, and Program Supervisors to maintain clinical integrity, ensure compliance, and foster profitable operations.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Provide leadership, training, mentoring, and support to Program Directors (PDs), Clinical Supervisors (CSs), and Program Supervisors (PSs) to ensure program compliance, delivery of best practice, quality services, and profitability of each office.Responsible for coordinating New Leader Orientation for new PDs, CSs, and PSs, including providing state-level operational support and training. Train all PDs, CSs, and PSs as requested by Directors of Operations (DOs), including the following:Assist in the implementation of new programs and services.Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to ensure program compliance, delivery of best practice, quality services, and profitability of the office.Complete and facilitate Site Support Plans with offices as needed. Coach PD to identify challenges and goals.Develop timelines for completion of action items for improvement.Identify who is responsible for action items for improvement.Promote and ensure an environment that encourages, supports, and requires participation and implementation of PQI and the strategic planning process at all levels. Develop a yearly audit schedule to support PQI expectations. Attend regional treatment teams to show support and state-level leadership presence. Assist DOs with MAR Review and provide feedback.Participate in budgeting and strategic planning processes as requested by Vice President of Operations (VPO).Participate in COA re-accreditation, state and payor audits, and implementation of CAPs.Support state with clinical decision-making, training, and policy reviews. Participate with interviews for management positions as requested by VPO. Participate in on-call tree for Clinical Supervisors to support consultation.Promote Leadership Development Training, including employee evaluation, recruitment, and retention.Support and attend all state functions to include weekly management calls and quarterly meetings for PD, CS, and PS positions. Coordinate, plan, and attend monthly calls and quarterly in-person DCLD meetings.Assist new states in identifying, hiring, interviewing, and training new DCLDs.Assist VPO as requested in the implementation of new programs and services.Participate with the Implementation and Development Team in developing and implementing clinical and operational training. Will meet monthly with and assist with state specific training needs.Perform other duties as assigned and/or approved by VPO to support the mission of the Company, both operationally and clinically.If professionally licensed:Provide board-approved licensure supervision as requested by VPO and as DCLD’s schedule permits.As a licensed clinician working for Health Connect America your NPI number will be used to bill for services performed by those being supervised by you.As a licensed clinician you will be responsible for ensuring that your credentials remain current, you comply with all training requirements, and you are adequately supervising your staff.Virginia-Specific Addendum to Essential Duties & Responsibilities:In addition to the duties listed above, DCLDs supporting Virginia programs are responsible for:Oversee and manage the state’s risk management function in compliance with applicable regulations, payor standards, and accreditation requirements.Complete and maintain required risk management training, including topics such as individual risk screening, conducting investigations, root cause analysis, and data analysis to identify risk patterns and trends.Conduct and oversee risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern and develop mitigation strategies that enhance safety and compliance.Lead and facilitate investigations or root cause analysis intoincidents, complaints, or identified risks, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to reporting requirements.Analyze data to identify trends and systemic risks, implementing proactive measures to reduce risk and improve organizational safety and performance.Minimum of a Master’s degree in a behavioral health care or medical field, focusing on the provision of quality care services. Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in operations, consulting, supervision, program development, and/or management. Candidates should preferably possess a current professional license applicable to the state of employment, ensuring compliance with local regulations in the mental health field.Must demonstrate the ability to successfully manage office functions and requirements.
