Responsible for supporting the People & Culture (P&C) function within the Clean Energy and Infrastructure (CE&I) Renewables market sector of MasTec, leading HR operations for their respective groups. This role will focus on business growth, workforce strategy, consulting, talent initiatives, organizational effectiveness, change management, and leadership development programs in alignment with the Renewables group’s operational goals. The Senior Manager - Human Resources will ensure consistent application of policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal employment laws and company standards. This role contributes to initiatives such as engagement survey action planning, performance and development planning, and recruitment strategies, partnering closely with segment P&C teams. The position provides both leadership and day-to-day HR support to operational teams, driving HR compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence. to support the business’s vision, mission, and overall objectivesOversee the daily operations and workflow of respective P&C teamsConduct research and analysis of workforce trends using data and metrics from HR systems, including dashboards and Power BIWork closely with leaders to develop talent strategies and strategic resource forecastingReview HR data and provides business strategies to leadership to help retain talent and build a better businessPrepare and deliver information to senior leadership, department heads, and staff regarding HR policies, programs, and best practicesServe as a strategic HR business partner to senior leadership by aligning human capital strategies with overall business objectivesLead performance management, employee development, and succession planning efforts within the Renewables groupSupport organizational change and development initiatives, contributing to a culture of continuous improvementLead, coach, and mentor HR team members to ensure effective service delivery and professional growthPartner with business leaders to develop and direct HR strategies, programs and initiatives that support the overall strategic direction and goalsCollaborate with the training department to teach and guide employees on HR best practicesBuild strong relationships with senior management and management throughout the market sector to fully understand their needs and make recommendations for improvement related to workforce planning, processes, culture, and other HR related itemsTake an active part in design and execution of long-range HR business objectives and strategic plans focused on workforce planning and staffing, talent management, succession planning and competitive performance-based total rewardsProvide guidance, advice and training to managers and employees, on employee relations and HR topics, including policy and procedure interpretationAdvise leadership on correction action (discipline) for employee’s misconduct, employee performance issues, serious violations of MasTec Renewables policiesLead changes by partnering with leaders on planning, implementing and communicating necessary changes involving employeesPartner with Compensation Manager on promotions and pay adjustments to ensure pay equityUpon project award review contracts, local, state, and federal laws for compliance needsEncourage and assists leaders to focus on increasing top talent and differentiate development of employeesFamiliarity with Labor Relation Policy and Union Activity Guidelines, advise managers as needed, and escalate issues as neededMaintain a high level of HR and industry knowledge in order to recognize efficiencies throughout the organization and remain compliant with federal/state laws and regulationsCoach, educate, and advise management on HR related policies, procedures, compensation and benefit programs, employee discipline, and laws pertaining to employee relations to ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employeesLead special projects in relation to organizational goals and strategiesProvide daily guidance and leadership to HRBPsResponsible for onboarding/training all new HRBPsDirect supervisory responsibility for HRBPsOther duties as assignedEducation and Work Experience Requirements:Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related fieldSeven+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety
