For more information please visitwww.nikkisoceig.com.The Technical Project Manager II is responsible for coordinating a variety of projects. The Technical Project Manager II ensures the project scope is established and resources are properly allocated so that complete customer satisfaction is achieved, and project deliverables are met within budget in a timely manner. Coordinates all project management activities on assigned projects with focus on managing schedule, budget, and risks and their mitigationsPlans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned project work; monitors work to ensure on-time release and deliveryPerforms cost accounting and risk/opportunity managementEnsures extensive regular contact with assigned project clients and equipment vendors is metParticipates in client/contractor meetings and resolves project management issuesEnsures project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriatelyEnsures effective communication and coordination of project requirements pertaining to assigned projects between all Nikkiso disciplines and all other project participantsGenerates project schedules, project budgets, statement of work, and customer status reportsGenerates project status updates monthly and manages day-to-day project communication to clientsImplements and tracks project budgets and schedulesCreates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirementsEffectively applies methodology and enforces project standardsCreates and executes project work plansCommunicate with customers and internal team, revising work plans to meet changing needs and/or requirementsEnsure that Nikkiso quality and EHS standards are maintained.Maintain clear and timely communication with other departments to keep the project moving and avoid delays.Host customers and/or their representatives during visits to Nikkiso.Must possess communication and presentation skillsKnowledge of project management standards and best practicesProficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience resolving conflicts and promoting organizational effectivenessExcellent negotiation skills are a mustExperience and Education:2+ years of engineering product/project management experience requiredBachelor’s degree is preferredThe knowledge, skills and abilities listed above are typically acquired through the levels of education and experience listed. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience that provides an applicant with the listed knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job, may be accepted.Work Environmental and Physical Demands: In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls. Overtime may be necessary as the workload’s dictates. This may include weekdays, weekends, nights and/or holidaysAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. may be required. Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel to a Client's office, production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.Candidates will be required to show a driving abstract with a clean driving history for travel between the NCI facility locations and client offices as required. A valid driver’s license is necessary.Environmental Safety RequirementsNew Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety AwarenessAll safety related training is provided and tracked by the EHS DirectorJob specific training modules deemed necessary by employee’s Manager or Director will be required of all employees on an ongoing basisEmployees are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed. PPE’s include, safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats & dust masks.
