The Vintage Hospital offers the latest in diagnostic and surgical expertise, including heart care, women’s health, and orthopedics.As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standardsProblem solve equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative regarding equipment problemsEnsures that daily equipment and room maintenance is performed during after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standardsCompletes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintainedCompletes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedureActively Participates with patient testing, performing routine, non‐routine, urgent, and emergent patient requestsRequiredTwo (2) years related experienceBasic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - daysRegistered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hirePreferredAssociates Other orOne year certificate from a healthrelated program in a related medical field, which includeseminar course training in cardiac ultrasound
