PHARMACY TECHNICIAN- Per Diem (PRN) - JPS Correctional Health PharmacyWe are seeking a compassionate, caring, and customer‑focused Per Diem (PRN) Pharmacy Technician to work weekend night shifts, as needed, in the JPS Correctional Pharmacy in Fort Worth, TX. Prior pharmacy experience is required, along with flexibility to work as needed in a fast‑paced environment. The pharmacy is managed by VytlOne.JPSJPS Health Network is a $950 million, tax-supported health care system for Tarrant County in North Texas. Licensed for 578 beds, the network includes an acute care hospital and more than 40 community-based clinics, including 19 school-based clinics. This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position):The PRN Pharmacy Technician will provide as‑needed support within the correctional health pharmacy, including:Filling, packaging, and preparing inmate medicationsProcessing requested orders through EMR systemControlled substances handling per regulationsInventory management and unit restockingAssisting with medication pass preparationTroubleshooting medication issuesMaintaining compliance with all security and pharmacy standardsAnswer telephones quickly and with courtesy.Participate in pharmacy orientation programs, training programs for Pharmacy Technicians, pharmacy staff meetings, in-service educational programs and other committees and functions as required by the facility and pharmacy department.Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacyMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GEDActive Pharmacy Technician registration with the Texas Board of PharmacyMust be PTCB or NHA certifiedPrior inpatient, correctional, or high-volume pharmacy experience preferredMust pass background check for correctional health facilityScheduling ExpectationsPRN, as-needed coverage for call outs and or preplanned PTOMay include weekends, evenings or overnight (7pm-7am) based on operational needNo guaranteed minimum hoursApply online at: https://careers-maxor.icims.com/Legal Disclaimer:Maxor is an EOE, including disability/vets
