We are seekingaRehabilitation Technician, also referred to as aPhysical Therapy Aide or Rehab Tech.The Rehab Techplays a supportive, non-licensed role in the Physical Therapy (PT) department. Theyassistphysical therapists and physical therapist assistants by helping with patient care,maintainingtreatment areas, and handling administrative or logistical tasks.This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRNas needed.Shift’s Available: DaysEmployment Type:Per DiemHours: 8 hour shiftsLocation: DMC Clinic - Saginaw, TXHere are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Competitive compensationMedical insurance benefit plan401KSick leave accrualEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):Provide Patient Support- Assist with therapy session preparation, transport patients safely, andobserveexercises to report concerns to the therapistPrepare and Maintain Therapy Areas- Set up and clean treatment spaces, prepare necessary equipment, and follow infection control protocolsSupport Administrative Functions- Help with scheduling and documentation andmonitortherapy supply inventory for restockingCollaborate with the Care Team- Communicate with therapists and nurses andassistduring group therapy or mobility training sessionsUphold Safety and Professional Standards- Follow hospital policies,maintainpatient confidentiality, and ensure a safe, respectful environment for all patientsBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: 1. High School diploma or equivalent2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.3.
