We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Asphalt Crew Laborer to support paving and maintenance operations across Arizona and New Mexico. This role is essential to the success of our field crews and involves hands-on work assisting with asphalt placement, surface preparation, cleanup, and general jobsite support.The ideal candidate is safety-minded, physically capable, and comfortable working outdoors in hot and physically demanding environments. This position requires teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic.Assist asphalt paving crews with laydown, raking, shoveling, and smoothing asphaltSupport site preparation activities including grading, sweeping, cleaning, and edge workWork alongside paver operators, roller operators, and foremen to maintain production flowAssist with patching, pothole repair, milling prep, and surface repairsLoad and unload tools, materials, and equipment from trucks and trailersOperate hand tools and small equipment such as lutes, rakes, shovels, plate compactors, and blowersDirect traffic and set up / remove cones, barricades, and signage as requiredMaintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all timesFollow all OSHA, MSHA (if applicable), and company safety policiesPerform daily jobsite cleanup and assist with end-of-day shutdown activitiesTravel between job sites and work flexible schedules, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as requiredSupport operations across Arizona and New Mexico, including overnight travel when necessaryHourly Range is $23/hour-$32.50/hourTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
