Hereu2019s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: The Sr Amazon Connect Engineer is a technical role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based contact center solutions to support consulting and delivery projects or programs. This individual will work closely with architects and delivery teams to develop robust, secure, and scalable cloud contact center solutions on AWS that drive value for clients and align with enterprise modernization objectives. The role focuses on hands-on technical tasks and solution engineering, with few delivery support responsibilities. This role may require occasional travel, such as a kickoff week for a long engagement. Key Responsibilities u00b7 Receive requirements from architects and translate solution patterns into high-quality, maintainable code. u00b7 Implement a wide variety of cloud architectures using infrastructure as code. u00b7 Develop, test, and deploy modular accelerator code, where applicable, to streamline project implementation and enhance client value. u00b7 Integrate multichannel compatibility, security, networking, and observability features into each component as specified by solution designs. u00b7 Leverage GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and other automation tools to deploy complex cloud architectures efficiently. u00b7 Participate in code reviews and provide and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement. u00b7 Apply flexible application logic and feature enhancements to base patterns from open-source or internal repositories. u00b7 Create reusable components and patterns for future use. u00b7 Rapidly learn and apply new patterns and technologies to meet evolving solution requirements. u00b7 Assist less senior engineers in completing tasks, if the project requires it. Minimum Qualifications: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). u00b7 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or related technical roles. u00b7 5+ yearsu2019 experience working with AWS services, including Amazon Connect, compute, storage, networking, and security services. u00b7 Experience developing Connect flows for both fixed and data driven customer journeys. u00b7 Experience with Voice, Chat, and SMS channels in Connect. u00b7 Experience writing Lambdas for data access and Lex bots for both intent based and conversational AI flows. u00b7 Experience integrating the Connect CCP with third party systems via built in or custom integrations u00b7 Deep experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CDK. u00b7 Strong scripting skills in Python and/or TypeScript. u00b7 Experience with source code management and CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CodeBuild. u00b7 Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and networking components. u00b7 Understanding of observability tools and implementing monitoring solutions in AWS environments. u00b7 Strong knowledge of IAM and security implementations in cloud environments. u00b7 Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them to real-world problems. u00b7 Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with architects and other technical team members. u00b7 Associate level AWS certification (Solutions Architect, CloudOps Engineer, or Developer) Desired Qualifications u00b7 Masteru2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. u00b7 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering or solution delivery. u00b7 Professional level AWS certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or specialty) u00b7 Experience implementing custom Amazon Connect integrations using the Connect Streams API u00b7 Experience integrating Amazon Connect with third party APIs for actions like Screen Pops and recording calls in ticketing systems u00b7 Experience creating custom Connect CCP integrations using CTI APIs u00b7 Demonstrated success in deploying secure, scalable, and highly available distributed systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $119800.00 - $179800.00/yr. We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
