Learn more at DescriptionAvery Dennison is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer that is a highly motivated problem solver that will lead site quality planning, initiatives and execution on the team while also supporting critical ISO systems. In this role, the successful candidate will bring passion, determination and a sense of urgency to drive a world class quality culture to Graphics operations. You will work closely with the site operations and broader divisional quality organization in Graphics, engineering and supply chain to ensure business success in a leading company where individual and team success are recognized and rewarded. , Activities may include, but are not limited to:Act the Quality Lead for the Lowell Manufacturing site supporting strategic Quality Initiatives identified by the Divisional team and managing the core responsibilities daily at the site to drive quality improvement, Own the results for critical quality metrics along with the reporting tools to accurately convey performanceManage Quality technician direct reports and assess workloads and responsibilities to align with quality requirements, Lead quality projects to support the operations quality strategy improving reduction in customer claims in the market and/ or reducing internal losses, Lead Supplier Quality Improvement initiatives driving corrective action and managing the raw material rejection process to minimize internal losses and impact to HOLD accrualLead Quality Critical updates and actions through the Managing for Daily Improvement process, Lead customer and , internal corrective action requests implementing countermeasures to prevent recurrence, Perform capability analysis to understand how the site is maintaining key CTQâs, Support the MOC/TOD process to ensure any process changes are properly accounted for and potential impact to quality, Establish and assess quality testing standards and required frequencies based on risk and product requirements.Site Calibration Quality lead and review of inspection equipment adequacy and needsPerform other tasks or project work as assigned by manager and leadership, Safety:Practice all health and safety procedures, policies and practices.Practice excellent housekeeping.
