If a Warehouse Associate role sounds like something you would be interested in, and you meet the qualifications listed below, apply now Responsibilities for a Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to: + Shipping & Receiving: Efficiently unload and load trailers, check in merchandise, and match purchase orders to sales orders to ensure accurate freight distribution. + Freight Management: Sort and palletize freight up to 50 lbs and utilize handheld scanners to monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries. + Logistics Coordination: Take check calls from drivers to ensure on-time delivery and validate load data for accounting and inventory purposes. + Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, accessible warehouse for employee safety and participate in regular inventory counts and product assembly. Candidates for Warehouse Associate must meet the following requirements to be considered: + Physical Capability: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift in a fast-paced dock environment. + Technical & Communication Skills: Basic computer proficiency and the ability to follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions effectively. + Experience: Previous experience in the transportation industry, specifically with loading/unloading trailers and using handheld scanners, is highly preferred. + Schedule Flexibility: While the standard shift is Mondayu2013Friday, candidates must be flexible to work varying hours (evenings, nights, or weekends) based on freight volume.
