Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to create detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices. This role involves developing precise drawings and 3D models for a variety of machinery, ensuring accurate representation of dimensions, fastening methods, and engineering information. The position is key to new product development and involves both mechanical and structural projects. Responsibilities + Develop detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications for mechanical equipment. + Create approval, fabrication, and installation drawings for projects. + Design systems and assemblies to achieve desired results efficiently. + Review and correct drawings for accuracy and completion before submission. + Manage projects by communicating with salespeople, customers, installers, and other engineers. + Report progress to management and estimate completion dates for project phases. + Manage and support designers assigned to assist with projects. + Share knowledge and experience with other designers. + Travel for site visits and measuring trips as required. + Perform all other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Associates Degree in drafting/design field or equivalent experience. + Knowledge of mechanical/structural design, field layout, and bulk materials systems. + Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor 3D CAD software. + Excellent organizational and communication skills. + Familiarity with MS Office suite. + Sound judgment and problem-solving skills. Work Environment This role requires the ability to sit in front of a computer for extended periods. Effective and efficient communication is essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belleville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $44.86 - $45.67/hr.
