TouchPoint Salary: Other Forms of Compensation: Reports to: Sr. Director of Food & Nutrition Schedule: Full time; primarily Monday through Friday, once weekend per month (1 every 4th week), and rotating holidays. Job Summary The Retail Dining Manager position is responsible for the successful retail dining operation of the main cafe, coffee shop, lounges, vending, and catering. They will perform a variety of duties including the planning and supervision of internal catering, maintaining of cash controls and payroll records, and the hiring and training of our hourly team members. They also ensure customer satisfaction and good public relations through the safe and efficient uses of resources. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial manager who is passionate about food service excellence, thrives in a fastu2011paced healthcare environment, and is committed to delivering outstanding service to patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate is a handsu2011on leader who can motivate teams, drive operational performance, control costs, and continually look for ways to enhance the dining experience within a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: + Oversees daily administrative and operational tasks + Handles all aspects of staff leadership, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management + May assist with managing financial performance, including budget development, forecasting, and financial reporting + Maintains knowledge of the market place and trends + Manages cost controls and control expenditures for the account + Oversees sanitation and safety of assigned unit(s) + Purchases and manages inventory + Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team + Additional duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: + Three or more years supervisory experience in food service operations + Associates degree in food and beverage, hospitality or culinary arts preferred + Experience in a hospital, senior living, institutional, or related multi outlet food service environment + Knowledge of retail, food and catering trends including quality standards, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation + Strong leadership, management and coaching skills + Excellence written and verbal communication skills + Financial, budgetary, accounting, and analytical skills + Proficiency with Microsoft Office, e-mail, internet applications, and related systems + ServSafeu00ae Certified Apply to TouchPoint today _TouchPoint is a member of Compass Group USA_ Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story ( Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
