An opportunity exists to join our exceptional team as a Registered Nurse (RN). Supporting the 10 bed 3 South surgical unit and/or the 19-bed acuity adaptable blended unit, this is an exceptional opportunity for those with RN experience in a hospital setting. This will support our Critical Care Unit and those with CCU or PCU/Step-Down experience are encouraged to apply. Required Qualifications: Education Graduation from a school of nursing that results in the ability of the graduate to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred. Licensure u00b7 Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License. u00b7 BLS. u00b7 ACLS required for the following departments: Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency and PCU at Livingston Experience _Experienced Canadian Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply_ + Graduation from accredited nursing program. + Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role. + Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age specific needs + Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families. + Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of job description. + Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care Shift: - Night Shifts 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Status Available: Part-time Midnights Every Third Weekend and Rotating Holidays. required for Full-time and Part-Time team members.
