JOB REQUIREMENTS: Location: US:WI:NEENAH at our THEDACARE CORPORATEfacility. This job is HYBRID. FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift:1 Schedule: 8 AM -4:30 PM hybrid position. Training will be onsite atthe ISC in Menomonee Falls for the first few months and then hybrid withperiodic onsite responsibilities at ThedaCare specialty clinics inNeenah. Job Summary: This role will coordinate and oversee medicationaccess workflows across North Region ThedaCare specialty clinics andsupport the day-to-day operations of the Medication Access team. Keyroles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinateprior authorization and financial assistance workflows for North RegionThedaCare specialty clinics Serve as an escalation point for complexmedication access issues Support and guide Medication AccessSpecialists in daily work Partner with pharmacists, clinicleadership, and providers to ensure timely access to therapy Assistwith workflow development, standardization, and performance improvementinitiatives You will be a great fit for this role if: You have strongexperience in medication access or specialty pharmacy workflows Youenjoy leading and coordinating work across teams You are highlyorganized with strong follow-up skills You are motivated to improveprocesses and patient access to care EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimumof 2 years experience as a Medication Access Specialist 2 (or similarexperience). Cross trained and demonstrated ability to support priorauthorization services in a minimum of 3 different disease states and/ordemonstrated ability to support multiple clinics from a medicationrefill perspective and/or demonstrated ability to support all areas inregards to foundation and manufacture assistance. Cross trained anddemonstrated competence in multiple medication access teamresponsibilities (such as prior authorizations, foundation andmanufacture assistance, and medication refill support). Experience with3rd party insurance. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High school diploma orequivalent is required. 4 year degree preferred. Graduate of ASHPaccredited pharmacy tech training program preferred. SPECIAL SKILLSDESCRIPTION: Proven attention to detail. Exceptional customer serviceskills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group.Outstanding organizational skills. Promotion skills ability to sell aprogram. Experience with various computer systems, programs, andinsurance companies (such as EMR, retail pharmacy POS, web portals).Ability to independently facilitate new projects and work with amultidisciplinary group to achieve success. Aptitude for accomplishinggoals with minimal supervision and working independently with efficiencyand self-motivation. Critical thinking skills to improve upon currentprocesses and suggest solutions to problems with the services. LICENSUREDESCRIPTION: Application for Wisconsin registration as a PharmacyTechnician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12months of hire. Staff hired into this role prior to 3/31/23 must haveapplied for Wisconsin registration by 3/31/23 and have until 3/31/24 toobtain registration. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards exam (PTCE)or the National Healthcareer Associations exam (ExCPT) is requiredwithin 6 months of hire.
