JOB REQUIREMENTS: Location: US:WI:NEENAH at our THEDACARE CORPORATEfacility. This job is HYBRID. $5,000 sign on bonus FTE: 1.000000Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: 1 Schedule: 8 AM -4:30 PM hybrid position.Training will be onsite at the ISC in Menomonee Falls for the first fewmonths and then hybrid with periodic onsite responsibilities atThedaCare specialty clinics in Neenah. Job Summary: This role supportsNorth Region ThedaCare specialty clinics patients and providers bycompleting prior authorizations, coordinating insurance benefits, andassisting with financial assistance programs for specialty medications.Key roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Initiate and manage prior authorizations for specialty medications forNorth Region ThedaCare specialty clinics Verify pharmacy and medicalinsurance benefits Assist patients with manufacturer and foundationassistance programs Communicate with clinics, payers, pharmacies, andpatients to resolve access barriers You will be a great fit for thisrole if: You enjoy problem-solving and attention to detail You arecomfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Youvalue teamwork and collaboration You are passionate about helpingpatients access their medications EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: 3 years ofexperience in pharmacy, healthcare, managed care, or other healthinsurance environment is required Knowledge of health insurance andpharmacy insurance benefit verification, health insurance terminology,billing, managed care contracting, hospital reimbursement, and hospitaladmitting and registrations practices required. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:High school diploma or equivalent is required. 4 year degree preferred.Graduate of ASHP accredited pharmacy tech training program preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Proven attention to detail Experience withthird party insurance and medication/co-pay assistance programsEffective interpersonal skills, including the ability to developcollaborative alliances, promote teamwork and ensure a high degree ofinternal and external customer satisfaction Outstanding organizationaland follow-up skills Experience with various computer systems andprograms (such as EPIC, insurance portals, McKesson Enterprise, etc.)Quick learner Ability to work independently and take programmaticinitiative Ability to function in a fast paced and changing environmentand balance multiple priorities Experience with navigating an ElectronicHealth Record. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Certification through PharmacyTechnician Certification Board or National Healthcare Association(ExCPT) Required within the first 6 months of hire.
