Weu2019re seeking a mid-level engineer that holds a Minnesota Professional Engineer license (current and in good standing) with experience in environmental remediation for federal and global private sector clients.Based in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area, youu2019ll work with other scientists, engineers, subject matter experts, and project managers on exciting projects nationwide. Youu2019ll apply your technical experience in environmental remediation projects with the support of our global remediation technology team. Your analytical skills will be called upon as you evaluate site conditions, determine data needs, and oversee remediation work. Youu2019ll use your technical writing skills to prepare work plans, reports, and interpret and enforce design specifications. Youu2019ll learn from other experienced staff who are ready to mentor you, and youu2019ll pass your knowledge on to others. As a mid-level Engineer, youu2019ll be directed by Project and Design Managers and discipline leads, but you will be called on to take ownership of assigned tasks.For your first two years, the bulk of your responsibilities will be spent onsite at a major dredging project location in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area, providing full-time quality control oversight of sediment dredging, sampling, dewatering, and disposal activities. This site work will take place from August 2026 to December 2026 and then resume again in 2027 from April to December. While most of your work will be seasonally field-based for 2026 and 2027 on this specific project, your work during other times will be primarily office-based. You may also have opportunities to spend some time in the field at other project sites supporting or overseeing the gathering of site characterization or design data. Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Geotechnical, or Geologic Engineering or other closely related engineering field. Registered State of Minnesota Professional Engineer (P.E.) in good standing. Minimum of 3 years of on-the-job experience in environmental remediation design and construction, and the ability to provide project examples. Minimum of 1 year of experience related to remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design/construction at environmental remediation sites. Experience working on active project sites and overseeing subcontractors and/or third-party construction contractors. Field experience that includes collecting environmental and geotechnical samples from sediment and other media and accurately documenting field conditions and activities. Ability to communicate concisely and proactively, via written and verbal communications, with team members. Ability to work remotely and collaboratively with team members located nationwide. Based within the United States and be a US Citizen.Ideally, Youu2019ll Also Have: Experience performing and leading environmental field work for remediation projects and an understanding of methodology and procedures. 40-hr OSHA HAZWOPER certification. Experience working on sediment dredging projects, with the ability to provide project examples.
