Job Title: Machinist and Programmer Job Description Join a family-owned fabrication and machine shop located in Clackamas as a lathe machinist. We are seeking an individual with specific CNC Mill setup experience and some G code editing knowledge. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced production environment and able to work independently on a variety of CNC Mills. Intermediate experience with CAD/CAM Software is required. Responsibilities + Set up CNC Mills + Program Machines + Inspect parts and components Essential Skills + CNC Mill Setup experience + Intermediate programming experience + Ability to read blueprints + Troubleshooting skills + Experience with lathe setup Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior CNC Machining Experience in a job shop environment preferred + Ability to operate and inspect parts effectively Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a smaller shop environment with less than 50 people. Enjoy a casual dress code with work boots required. The job shop requires flexibility to adapt to various work tasks and responsibilities. The position is a day shift role from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $42.00/hr.
