ESRI GIS Specialist

Description GIS Specialist with 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry or comparable industry that has worked on at least one project in the $5-20 million dollar range and has experience, preferably as an Owners Construction Management Representative, to join our on-site Construction Management team managing projects with the natural history museum. Excellent communication skills are essential and must be a proven team player. u2022 Administer and support ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, StoryMaps, and ArcGIS Pro. u2022 Manage 700+ SI GIS user accounts, including user types, roles, and access. u2022 Maintain licenses for ESRI products and 3rd party tools (XTools, ENVI/IDL, MAPublisher). u2022 Support GIS data publishing, feature services, maps, and geospatial applications. u2022 Assist with troubleshooting, user support, and workflow development. u2022 Coordinate with OCIO to secure central funding for GIS operations. u2022 Participate in vendor discussions and coordinate in-kind contributions. u2022 Maintain a list of available ESRI training resources for staff. u2022 Provide guidance to staff, volunteers, and interns on GIS projects; document project progress. Required Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field. + 3u20135 years of experience with ESRI GIS technologies. + Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and enterprise geodatabases. + Experience with GIS data management, spatial analysis, and publishing services. + Strong communication and documentation skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.08/hr.
