Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting for AMX/Crestron and DSP systems- Write code for DSP systems- Self-commission and train on DMPS boardroom rooms- Identify system bugs to programmer/Senior Field Engineer- Make recommendations to project Manager and Senior Field Engineer on design/scope issues- Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer- Fine tune audio video systems to ensure optimal performance- Provide excellent customer service- Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time Pay Rate: (see below)$27.00 -- $50.00/hr TEAMLINX offers great benefits including:- 401K with employer 50% employer match up to first 5%- Insurance options including Medical plans with Flexible Spending and/or Health Savings Accounts, Disability, Dental and Vision- 8 Paid Holidays- 3 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) combining sick pay and vacation days- Career growth opportunities PAY IS DECIDED THROUGH A SKILLS TEST AND MEETING THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OUTLINED BELOW Level 1 -- $27 -- $30 Minimumu00a0Requirementsu00a0- Able to follow directions of a Senior FE for the following tasksu00a0- Networked device addressingu00a0- Program loadingu00a0- Signal path verificationu00a0- Firmware Updatingu00a0- Without support, connect to various IP/USB control system for configuration and setting adjustmentu00a0- Can self-commission and train, point to point roomsu00a0- Is working towardsu00a0proficiencyu00a0in LINX standards of programming, QA/QCu00a0 Optional Certifications:u00a0- CTS Optionalu00a0- Extron EVAVu00a0 Level 2 -- $30-$35 Minimum Requirements- Can self-commission and train, DMPS boardroom rooms- Can identify system bugs to programmer/Senior FE- Has a Basic understanding of AV solutions- Is proficient in LINX standards of programming, QA/QC Required Certifications- CTS or able to attain in 9 months- QSC -- Qsys Level 1- Dante Level 1- Crestron Installer and P101 Level 3 -- $35-$40 Minimum Requirements- Can self-commission, DM and NVX Divisible type rooms- Takes all commissioning issues on.- Can identify, fix or task out installation issues with project team- Holds the work of the project and teammates to LINX standards- Has a good understanding of AV solutions, is empowered to make adjustment to design to meet scope requirements.- Is proficient in LINX standards and is able hold others to these standards.- Can fix any programming bugs and issues with only direction from programming (Minimal remote in support)- Leads a group of field Engineers on site for a large project- Tracks his/her budget on the project. Required Certifications- All level 2 certs plus- Crestron P201- Harman programming associate- Dante 2 and 3- Q-sys level 2 Level 4 -- $40-$50 Minimum Requirements- Takes all commissioning issues on.- Can fix any programming bugs and issues with only direction from programming (Not remote in)- Leads a group of field Engineers on site for a large project- Tracks his/her budget on the project.- Can train other Field Engineers the LINX way- Can take on any aspect of completing the project- Ordering through Procurement, Customer coordination, onsite management Required Certifications- All level 3 certs plus- Crestron P301/Crestron Certified Programmer- CTS-D- is optimal- CCNA or CompTIA Network+- Q-sys control training Job Summary:The AV Field Engineer will assist in the testing and commissioning of all aspects of the technical delivery of an audio-visual project. Field Engineers are the technical leader's onsite, providing assistance and mentorship to technicians and expertise for customers.The Field Engineer will also be scheduled for break fix and troubleshooting response for customers and will help efficiently resolve customer issues in a timely and customer friendly manner.
