Sales Coordinator u2014 Job Description Schedule: Hybrid Tuesdayu2013Thursday, 7:30 a.m.u20133:30 p.m. Compensation: Hourly role with no commission. Lead Type: All warm leads u2014 no cold calling. Communication Mix: Approximately 25% phone work; the remaining 75% of communication is done through chat and email. Overview The Sales Coordinator plays a key support role by maintaining accurate customer and program information, responding to inbound customer needs, and helping move warm leads through established processes. This position does not involve hunting for new business or commission-based selling. Instead, success comes from organization, responsiveness, and high-quality customer interactions across phone, chat, and email. Responsibilities + Maintain accurate account contact information, venue details, and program records in the customer management system. + Respond to customer inquiries related to SKU rationalizations, pricing updates, asset transfers, and ownership changes. + Complete account setup and maintenance tasks, equipment service requests, accounting disputes, product tracking, and delivery claims. + Gather needed information from internal and external partners to identify and implement solutions. + Participate in business planning with field leadership or CAMs to define goals and customer support needs. + Conduct proactive outreach to assigned warm leads and customer tiers (approx. 25% phone, primarily follow-up and support calls). + Manage and develop personal strategy for identifying opportunities within the existing customer portfolio. + Build and maintain business relationships with current customers in your assigned territory or segment. + Track, measure, and report weekly sales and regional activities to ensure KPIs are met. + Prepare and submit monthly and annual portfolio performance reports. + Manage assigned beverage business warm leads, qualifying and moving them toward activation u2014 no cold calling. + Support monthly and annual team quotas by managing qualified CRM opportunities through closure. + Participate in team calls and occasional in-person regional visits or periodic travel. + Serve as a liaison between field teams, office staff, and support departments regarding updates or service interruptions. Essential Skills + Sales support or inside sales experience + Administrative support background + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel + Knowledge of KPIs + Experience with SKU rationalization and customer service + Strong data entry accuracy Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2+ years of account management or customer service experience + Coffee, beverage, or foodservice industry background (preferred) + Ability to think quickly and problem-solve + Highly detail-oriented and organized Work Environment The team works in a fun, collaborative environment. The office is located downtown, where public transportation is recommended due to high parking costs. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
