Description We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining compliance, and managing accurate employee records. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization dedicated to education and growth. Responsibilities: u2022 Facilitate comprehensive onboarding for new hires, including offer documentation, system setup, and orientation coordination. u2022 Manage employee offboarding tasks such as system access removal, benefits notifications, and final documentation. u2022 Ensure Form I-9 documentation is completed and maintained in compliance with federal and state regulations. u2022 Conduct regular audits of employee files and I-9 records to uphold accuracy and compliance standards. u2022 Maintain and update employee data within the HRIS system, ensuring consistency and confidentiality. u2022 Assist with benefits administration, timekeeping, and basic payroll coordination. u2022 Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, systems, and procedures. u2022 Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates. u2022 Participate in HR projects, initiatives, and special assignments as needed. u2022 Perform general administrative duties, including document preparation, filing, and correspondence. Requirements u2022 1u20133 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role. u2022 Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workforce Now. u2022 Knowledge of onboarding, offboarding, and I-9 compliance processes. u2022 Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. u2022 Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Preferred experience in an education or nonprofit environment.
