Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES The u200b u200b Senior Systems Administrator u200bu200bis expected to be able to: + Coordinate,directand perform complex software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. + Schedule installations and upgrades andmaintainthemin accordance withestablished IT policies and procedures. + Continuallymonitorand tune multiple systems to achieveoptimumperformance levels. + Ensure workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managingappropriate softwareand hardware solutions of varying complexities. + Ensure data/media recoverability by developing and implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. + Plan andimplementthe modernization of servers. + Develop,implementand promote standard operating procedures and schedules. + Conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. + Incumbent develops and implements new standards,policiesand procedures. + Incumbent in this job works closely with Network and Systems Analysts to helpdetermineand develop the systems that will be implemented. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS + Active Top Secretclearance with a CI Poly. + 14-17 years of relevant experience.
