The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in land development and water resources design, including stormwater management, site grading, and erosion control. Representative Responsibilities: + Understand, protect and promote our empathetic, sustainable, digital, inclusive, people-focused culture in all aspects of the business by reinforcing positive workplace values and encouraging teamwork and cross-functional collaboration + Lead with empathy, strong communication, and a people-focused approach to achieve successful results for the South Area. + Assist Project Managers with technical and civil engineering design and/or provide Project Management + Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources: + Stormwater management design + Site grading + Erosion and sediment control design + Prepare plans for agency/municipal review + Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications + Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors + Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand + Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer + Maintain a high external profile through membership/attendance in industry organizations and continually growing a contact base Qualifications: + Servant leadership approach to the business u2013 leading by example + Empathy and understanding while maintaining technical and client service excellence. + A team builder, encourager and willing mentor + Proven ability to build strong partnerships and relationships both internally & externally. + Bacheloru2019s or advanced degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution + 6+ years of experience in land development civil-site engineering + Familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred + PE Preferred + Strong written and oral communication skills Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications of the candidate as it relates to the position description Benefits: + Flexible Work Environment + Paid Parental Leave + Medical + Dental + Vision + Life and AD&D Insurance + Short-Term and Long-Term Disability + 401(k) with Company Match + Paid Time Off + Holidays _Verdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
