Here's youropportunity to make a lasting impact on the learning environment at aleading university The Division of Facilities Planning & Management(FP&M) is a full-spectrum service organization that builds, maintains,and operates the physical environment of the UW-Madison campus insupport of the university's education, research, and outreachactivities. FP&M works behind the scenes to coordinate campus planning,manage design and construction, maintain and operate buildings andgrounds, supply utility services, ensure health and safety, and provideparking and transportation services. Under the general supervision ofthe University Architect, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Campus Planningand Design, within the Division of Facilities Planning & Management, theInterior Design position supports project teams through design anddelivery of capital projects which include instructional, academic andadministrative spaces. Capital Project scope includes renovations ofexisting facilities and construction of new buildings, with totalproject budgets ranging from $300K to multi-million dollars. Everyproject prioritizes design quality, cost-effective construction, andoperational efficiency. The Interior Design position will provideguidance to the project team as a campus interior design subject matterexpert throughout design and implementation. Key to this position issupporting internal and external project stakeholders to ensure criticalcampus project requirements are met.
