Thisrole supports day-to-day HR operations for the Milwaukee office andprovides exposure to core HR functions, including employee engagementand talent acquisition, as well as opportunities to collaborate with HRCenters of Excellence (CoEs) and participate in engagement initiativesand programs. This position is based onsite at Komatsu's South Harborlocation in Milwaukee and includes occasional local travel. Thisinternship will be based onsite at our South Harbor location inMilwaukee's Harbor District We offer full-time hours during thesummer, and flexible part-time scheduling during the academic year. KeyJob Responsibilities Gain competency utilizing the HRIS system,SuccessFactors, to process record changes for employees and contingentworkers; responsibilities may include supporting or owning elements ofthe contingent worker entry and offboarding process for corporatefunctions, as needed Support and participate in the Milwaukee InternshipProgram, which may include serving as an HR resource to peers, assistingwith intern program events, and attending university career fairs ornetworking initiatives Participate in recruitment activities such asintake meetings for open positions; posting job requisitions; reviewingresumes; and scheduling phone, video, and onsite interviews; may provideadditional Talent Acquisition support as needed Support the planning andexecution of HR-led events and initiatives, which may include the HRTeam Engagement Committee, Annual Employee Service Awards banquet, andHR Leadership Team Summit Under the direction of aHR Manager, assistwith reporting, research, and special projects as needed, which mayinclude supporting the development of new policies and proceduresSupport the HR team in handling employee relations matters and employeerequests, as appropriate Provide support for routine HR administrativetasks as needed Learn about and support HR and Center of Excellence(CoE) functional areas within the heavy equipment industry Maintainappropriate confidentiality when handling company and employeeinformation Qualifications/Requirements Required Pursuing abachelor's...
