IT Cybersecurity Analyst Threat Hunting

JOB REQUIREMENTS: WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking aThreat Hunting Engineer in our Milwaukee, Green Bay, or Chicagolocations. This position currently offers flexibility for a hybrid workarrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the office. Thisposition is part of a job family (IT Cybersecurity Analyst, Senior ITCybersecurity Analyst, and Principal IT Cybersecurity Analyst) whereexperience will be the determining factor. JobResponsibilities Conduct in-depth analysis and research to attributecyber threats and attacks, including identifying threat actors, theirmotivations, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and providinginsights on their potential impact on the organization. Ability toclassify, categorize, and analyze malware and threats. Monitor andassess the global threat landscape, including threat actors, malware,hacking techniques, and geopolitical events that may impact theorganization. Provide metrics on overall threat activity within andoutside of WEC Collaborate with internal teams to provide timely andactionable intelligence to support incident response, vulnerabilitymanagement, and other cybersecurity initiatives. Design, implement andadminister enterprise solutions that proactively search for and identifymalicious activity within their environments. Correlate threatenvironment from SIEM threat feeds to the latest risk analysis reportDevelop and maintain threat profiles, indicators of compromise (IOCs),and tactical reports to enhance detection and response capabilities.Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for proactivemeasures to help prevent cyber-attacks.
