JOB REQUIREMENTS: WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking aData Security Engineer in our Milwaukee, Green Bay, or Chicagolocations. This position currently offers flexibility for a hybrid workarrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the office. Thisposition is part of a job family (IT Cybersecurity Analyst, Senior ITCybersecurity Analyst, and Principal IT Cybersecurity Analyst) whereexperience is the determining factor. JobResponsibilities Establishes and implements appropriate standards andcriteria for data security requirements Design, develop, deploy andmanage enterprise data security solutions including data loss prevention(DLP), data encryption, cloud data protection, as well as data securitygovernance and compliance In-depth understanding of DLP, Data Discovery,Classification, Encryption, Masking, Tagging and Governance Conduct riskassessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigatepotential data security threats, including third party cyber riskassessment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploydata protection measures and best practices Provide expert guidance ondata privacy management and risk mitigation techniques Ensure KPIsrelated to data security are accurately tracked and reported Monitor andrespond to data security incidents, implementing corrective actions asneeded Regularly review data security policies and standards. Provideinput and recommendations to address enhancements and adapt to changingregulations and industry best practices Strong interpersonal skills towork effectively with teams Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree incomputer science, computer engineering, software engineering,information technology, computer information systems, MIS, orengineering is preferred.
