The Program provides a preference first formembers of the Forest County Potawatomi Community followed by spouse andForest County Potawatomi Descendants. Mission and Purpose To providecareer development and learning opportunities to members of the ForestCounty Potawatomi Community. Offering development of business skillsthrough the application of education and life experiences withinPotawatomi Ventures. Eligibility Requirements Enrolled Forest CountyPotawatomi Community Member, spouse, or descendant. Completion of theEmployment Application. Actively in school or graduated within last 2years. Ability to work at a Potawatomi Ventures or Potawatomi VenturesSubsidiary locations. Participate in interview for employment and beselected as an Intern. Program Details and Duration Potawatomi Ventureswill offer Internships of eight to twelve week programs of Full or PartTime Employment at the Potawatomi Ventures Corporate office or with oneof the Potawatomi Ventures Subsidiaries. Fields of study for Internshipsinclude, but are not limited to: Accounting and Finance InformationTechnology Marketing Human Resources Facilities Potawatomi Ventures andSubsidiary Internship opportunities will be presented by PotawatomiVentures Corporate Office Greenfire Management Services Data Holdings-Data Center Fireside- Potawatomi Retail Operations Potawatomi FederalSolutions Program Learning and Experiences Each Intern will be providedexperience in the operations of the Potawatomi Ventures Businesses andopportunities for: Development of technical skills in chosen field ofstudy On the Job training Advancement of written and verbalcommunication Leadership Development soft skills Providing feedback andimprovements to Potawatomi Ventures businesses Interaction withcustomers and vendors Real time feedback from supervisors on successesachieved Learning about the Potawatomi Ventures Businesses Interns willbuild on their education and life experiences, applying thoseexperiences in a real-world business environment. Upon completion of thePotawatomi Ventures Internship, create a professional network withprofessionals from Potawatomi Ventures, customers, vendors and othercurrent, past, and future Potawatomi Ventures Interns. Program TimingPotawatomi Ventures will offer ongoing Internship Opportunities. Theapplication for these Internships will be ongoing.
