JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Discover. Achieve.Succeed. #BeHere Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITALfacility. This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00Shift: 1st Shift Details: Start and end times will vary for thisposition. Shifts begin as early as 7:30am and end as late as 5:30pm.Worked shift will be 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Travel to oneof our satellite clinics, Westbrook Health Center, will be required forthis position. Job Summary: The ophthalmic photographer assists theophthalmologists in the performance of eye examinations by using avariety of photographic equipment. The photographer duties includeanterior and posterior segment clinical ophthalmic imaging, researchparticipation, preparing patients for imaging, and troubleshootingequipment problems. Testing includes but is not limited to OCT, fundusphotography, fluorescein and ICG angiography, slit lamp biomicroscopy,and ultrasonography. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE: Knowledgeof cameras and photographic techniques and processes is required. Knowledge of medical and ophthalmologic terminology is required. Aminimum of 2 years of general medical photography or 1 year experiencein ophthalmic photography is preferred. EDUCATION: High Schooldiploma or equivalent is required. LICENSURE: American HeartAssociation (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS)or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire intothis role. Current CRA or OCT-C or working towards certification ispreferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills. Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel. Experiencewith reporting and analytics preferred. Demonstrates an understanding ofDEA regulations and controlled substance ordering requirements.
