This position provides direction and leadershipfor recruitment, selection, mentoring, coaching, advising, and theevaluation of the overall student experience in the Excellence inLeadership (E-Lead) Program and for other undergraduate innovationleadership development experiences offered by the FIELD Center.Responsible for teaching courses in the E-Lead Programs. Works closelywith the FIELD Center team, to enhance the FIELD Center's externalvisibility through the facilitation of programs and experiences forcorporate partners and other external audiences. Duties andResponsibilities 1. E-Lead Program Recruitment and Selection: a. Leadstudent recruitment cycles for various entry points into E-Lead, incollaboration with university partners to ensure multi-disciplinarycohorts apply and are selected; coordinate the student application,selection, and onboarding process; develop strategies and materials toattract highly qualified applicants and increase program visibilityamong current and prospective students. 2. E-Lead Program ConcentrationAdvising and Student Records: a. Direct student advising, concentrationenrollment, and course registration processes for the E-Lead Program;oversee student advising. b. Responsible for scheduling of all E-Leadcourses in accordance with all appropriate processes. 3. Teaching,Coaching and Mentoring a. Develop and teach curriculum and coursework inthe E-Lead Program; evaluate student learning and grade studentassignments. b. Provide direct mentorship and coaching to students,supporting leadership growth, academic progress, and professionalpreparation; develop resources that promote holistic student developmentand engagement. c. Support faculty in the OCOE and across the universityby delivering guest lectures on leadership, teamwork, and innovation inrelevant courses. 4. Program and Event Management a. Support planningand execution of signature E-Lead events. b. Manage the budget for areaof responsibility and forecast needs to ensure success of the program.5. FIELD Center Corporate Programs and Events a. Regularly support FIELDCenter initiatives, including corporate and professional offerings, hrough the development and delivery of curriculum for leadership andinnovation programs for professional audiences and corporate partners.6. Program Assessment, Evaluation and Improvement a. Lead assessmentefforts to continuously improve program offerings based on assessmentoutcomes and emerging trends in innovation and leadership developmentthrough qualitative and quantitative evaluation of student learningoutcomes, program satisfaction, and alumni success; analyze program dataand share findings internally and externally, contributing topublications, presentations, and thought leadership in engineering andinnovation education. b. Partner with the FIELD Center team to integrateknowledge and insights from external partnerships into E-Leadcurriculum. 7. Supervision a. Responsible for the supervision of studentemployees and graduate assistants, which includes but is not limited tohiring, training, disciplinary actions, ending the student'sassignment, etc. 8. FIELD Center Leadership a. Collaborate with theleader of the FIELD Center on strategic planning, program expansion, andalignment with OCOE and university priorities; donor engagement andstewardship, program storytelling and communications.Contribute toscholarship and leadership development and innovation education;represent E-Lead at relevant university, regional, and national events.b. Maintain and develop relationships with advisory boards, facultycommittees, and institutional stakeholders to enhance program qualityand impact. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: RequiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Master's degree in Business,Engineering, Higher Education, Student Personnel, LeadershipDevelopment, or a related area. Minimum of 6 years demonstratedexperience designing and delivering curriculum and facilitatinglearning. Strong mentoring, advising, and interpersonal skills.Expertise in leadership development, experiential learning,instructional design, and corporate engagement. Strongrelationship-building and networking skills. Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills. Collaborative, creative and strategic thinker.Skilled in program assessment, data-informed decision-making, andcontinuous improvement. Strong organizational and project managementskills and the ability to both prioritize and oversee multipleinitiatives simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to build partnershipsacross academia, industry, and the community. Requires the ability towork evening/weekend activities and travel may be required. PreferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Certification in leadership assessmenttools Experience creating and delivering corporate or professionalleadership programs. Academic administration experience a plus.Familiarity with university curriculum systems and interdisciplinaryprograms.
