Concrete Carpenter

Job Title: Concrete Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will typically work from 6-6:30am to 2-2:30pm, with the possibility of working up to 50 hours per week if needed. You will be responsible for supporting two construction sites. Your main duties will include designing and building forms, pouring concrete, and using various tools to spread and smooth the concrete. Responsibilities + Design and build forms for concrete structures. + Pour, spread, and smooth concrete using appropriate tools. + Install doors, drill, and set door hardware. + Install windows. + Layout for stairs and common rafters. + Read blueprints and utilize appropriate math skills for layout. + Form and place concrete footings, piers, walls, and columns. + Apply pump, place, and finish techniques. + Handle placement of concrete, slab on grade, and elevated decks. + Communicate effectively and understand verbal and written instructions. + Organize, sequence, and perform assigned tasks within schedule. Essential Skills + Proficiency in concrete construction, carpentry, and formwork. + Experience with concrete finishing and pours. + Ability to read blueprints and perform layout tasks. + Effective communication skills. + Organizational and sequencing skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum of five yearsu2019 experience in construction. + Reliable transportation. + Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius. + Ability to work in various seasonal and weather conditions.
