Summary: Metau2019s Global Energy Team is seeking a highly experienced energy professional to manage clean and renewable energy contracts as well as carbon reduction contracts throughout the construction, development, and operational project this role, you will be a key contributor to Meta's Global Energy Team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of renewable energy and carbon reduction contracts including: all contract compliance items, supporting contract negotiation, monitoring project development status, monitoring project construction status, coordinating contract amendments, maintaining contract documents and data, and enforcing contact terms and conditions regarding cost, RECs and performance. You will also be responsible for monitoring financial and operational project performance metrics on a budget versus actual basis. Required Skills: Energy Manager (Clean Energy Contracts) Responsibilities: 1. Serve as the ongoing owner for all of Meta's executed renewable energy contract requirements 2. Create, maintain, update and track documents and data related to renewable energy projects 3. Track counterparty compliance with contract milestones and other project deliverables 4. Review invoicing and reporting for renewable energy project contracts, and ensure that RECs, costs and project performance are consistent with contract terms and conditions 5. Respond to counterparty inquires and manage contract amendments, collateral, force majeure claims, and other issues, as needed 6. Manage approval and signature process for contract documents after execution 7. Surface and resolve issues in ongoing contracts and project operations 8. Coordinate with legal counsel, finance, accounting, purchasing, accounts payable/receivable and other key stakeholders Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 9. Bachelor's degree in business, energy or environmental science, paralegal studies or similar 10. 5+ years of work experience with an electric utility, energy supplier, project developer, or energy intensive industrial or consumer company 11. Experience managing a portfolio of renewable energy projects and understanding performance metrics 12. Experience communication, developing, and maintaining partnerships with counterparties, suppliers and internal stakeholders 13. Experience with G-Suite, Salesforce, AI tooling 14. Experience in building cross-functional relationships 15.
