Adaptive Planning Consultant

Description We are looking for an experienced Adaptive Planning Consultant to enhance and modernize a Workday Adaptive Planning environment, ensuring it delivers optimal financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities. This role focuses on improving data integration, refining model structure, and implementing advanced planning features such as scenario modeling and balance sheet forecasting. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in Jacksonville, Florida. Remote candidates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities: u2022 Evaluate and optimize the existing Adaptive Planning system to ensure alignment with enterprise financial reporting needs. u2022 Enhance data integration processes, including improving or replacing NetSuite Saved Search-based actuals loads. u2022 Redesign model structures, segmentation, and data granularity to support comprehensive reporting and planning. u2022 Develop and implement advanced planning features such as balance sheet forecasting and scenario modeling. u2022 Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to establish a shared governance model and improve system stability. u2022 Create and maintain detailed documentation of system design, integrations, and best practices. u2022 Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting capabilities within the Adaptive Planning platform. u2022 Address system limitations and data load challenges to ensure smooth operations. u2022 Provide expertise in redesigning levels, dimensions, and models to meet evolving business needs. Requirements u2022 At least 5 years of experience working with Workday Adaptive Planning. u2022 Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP& A), including budgeting and forecasting. u2022 Proven experience integrating Adaptive Planning with third-party financial systems such as NetSuite or Oracle. u2022 Ability to address data integration challenges and optimize system performance. u2022 Expertise in redesigning levels, dimensions, and models within Adaptive Planning. u2022 Comfortable working in legacy or inherited system environments. u2022 Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both financial and technical stakeholders. u2022 Adaptive Planning certifications or relevant qualifications are a plus.
