Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Legal Assistant to join our law firm client's team at our Biltmore office in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys handling personal injury cases, ensuring smooth case management and efficient operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment where bilingual skills are highly valued. This is an in-office role with opportunities to earn bonuses on top of your base salary. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist attorneys with managing personal injury litigation cases, including organizing documents and maintaining case files. u2022 Coordinate and schedule court dates, depositions, and other legal proceedings using calendaring tools. u2022 Prepare and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information for case preparation. u2022 Handle claim administration tasks, ensuring timely submission of claims and tracking their progress. u2022 Utilize case management software to maintain accurate records and monitor deadlines. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with billing procedures and administrative functions. u2022 Conduct legal research and compile findings to support case strategies. u2022 Translate and interpret documents or conversations if bilingual skills are applicable. u2022 Ensure adherence to legal standards and protocols throughout all aspects of case handling. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 1 year of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in personal injury litigation. u2022 Proficiency in software tools such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and case management systems. u2022 Familiarity with calendaring processes and docket management. u2022 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to interact with clients professionally. u2022 Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple cases simultaneously. u2022 Experience with billing functions and administrative procedures. u2022 Bilingual skills preferred, with fluency in both English and another language. u2022 Knowledge of claim administration and legal research processes.
