Riverton Pointe Golf & Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity for a Bartender. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to our members and their guests. The Bartender is integral to the guest experience and provides beverage services (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to the guests of the property. The Bartender will service beverages at the facility and provide a high-quality service-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities of the Bartender:Maintain a professional appearance at all timesMaintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper and other supplies.Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area(s), glassware, and equipmentAssures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followedCollects payment for drinks served; Greets and provides immediate attention to guestsLearn the names of regulars and personally recognize themMonitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer spects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are availablePrepares garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks; Performs clean-up and closing duties as assignedAdhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guestsImplement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by managementPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor or managerQualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:1-2 years of bartending experienceMust be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipesMust have strong customer/guest orientationMust have strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be dependableMinimum Qualifications for the Bartender: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.This position is expected to be around 25-35 hours per weekDepending on the week, a server can make anywhere from $22 - $45 per hour (including hourly + gratuity).Our property is generally closed on Monday's - open for special events. Other Qualifications:Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties. Alcohol Awareness Training.
