Yes County Albany Street Address State Campus, Bldg 5, Ground City Albany State NY Zip Code 12226 Duties Description Under the supervision of an ITS 4 this .NET developer position will be a member of a team in the Digital Transformation Office/Geospatial Services/Enterprise Services unit. This candidate will participate in the development of applications as well as products while also serving as support for previously developed applications. A .NET developer builds the digital tools and systems that businesses rely on, from user-facing apps to powerful backend services, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and high-performing. In addition to .NET this position may be tasked with coding Python automation, or developing GIS web/desktop solutions using ESRI or open-source frameworks. Minimum Qualifications One year of permanent competitive services as an Information Technology Specialist 3 OR in a position at G-21 or higher deemed administrative under Section 52.6 of Civil Service Law OR in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in advancement of more than two salary grades.
