Sr Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Sr Electrical EstimatorJob Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will analyze construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare comprehensive proposals. This role requires a meticulous professional dedicated to delivering competitive and accurate estimates. Responsibilities + Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare proposals. + Perform quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment. + Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes. + Develop value engineering options to improve competitiveness. + Create bid packages, proposal documents, and scope clarifications. + Participate in pre-bid meetings and coordinate with clients and general contractors. + Transition successful bids to project management and operations teams. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience estimating electrical work for commercial construction. + Strong knowledge of construction drawings, NEC, and material/labor costs. + Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid or similar. + Attention to detail, organization, and time management. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Work Environment The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, involving regular interaction with clients and general contractors. The role requires proficiency in using advanced estimating software and thorough understanding of electrical construction for commercial projects. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sacramento, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $200000.00/hr.
