This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: resumes or outreach from external recruiters or staffingagencies will not be considered.Summary:Performs lay-up of metal bondand composite materials in accordance with customer and companyspecifications and requirements while following company policies andusing proper personal protective equipment.This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Applies adhesive to metal detail parts and assembles parts.- Lays up composite fiberglass parts according to engineering specifications and work orders.- Visually inspects parts for foreign object damage (F.O.D.) prior to bagging parts.- Vacuum bags parts while ensuring there are no leaks in bag.- Cleans and preps bond tools as needed.- Unbags and unmolds parts as needed.- Records job information in ERP system.- Properly documents travelers, process logs, recorder charts and tank information.- Maintains clean work area, tools and equipment.- Inspects work pieces for defects.- Performs other duties as assigned.
