The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9-month, non-tenure eligible faculty position for an initial two-year period that has the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years.Assigned duties will include undergraduate instruction, primarily in courses at the 100- to 300- level. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to mentor undergraduate students as needed and perform routine departmental service. We seek applicants who intend to establish a long-term teaching career within the Department. Evidence of teaching excellence is valued as well as the administrative, organizational, and mentoring skills required to teach and coordinate large classes.
