Join our team as a Plating Technician and enjoy a chill first shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.What You'll Be Doing:- Get hands-on with chemicals, run simple lab tests, and handle RCRA and hazardous waste like a boss- Nail plating lingo, prep items for plating, and tackle shot peen and grit blasting- Decode basic blueprints and diagrams- Flex those math muscles and lift stuff up to 50 pounds- Roll with the punches in a dynamic work setting- Stay on top of plating records, process work orders, and use common sense in your tasks- Keep your workspace shipshape, follow safety rules, and stay green-friendlyWhat we're looking for:- High School Diploma or GED - got it- 3+ years of experience in Plating, including masking individual pieces and Aerospace tinkering- Hands-on experience with lab analysis, hazardous waste know-how, and shot peen operations- Understanding of plating jargon like current density, amperage, and plating time- Safe hands when it comes to handling chemicals- Ability to read blueprints, crunch some numbers, and lift up to 50 pounds- Diligent record-keeping and document preparation skills- Clean freak with a knack for organization and following rulesIf you can ace a background check and drug screen, we want youArea Temps still believes that the best way to serve both our employees and our customers is through personal service.
