Description: You will be a Fabricator for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for applying finish protective coatings, fabricating composite structures, and operating various processing equipment to produce high-quality products. What You Will Be Doing As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for applying protective coatings, operating processing equipment, and fabricating composite structures to meet quality and production standards. You will work with a variety of materials, including carbon fiber, plastics, and metals, and use various equipment, such as spray guns, brushes, and sandblasters. Your responsibilities will include: u2022 Applying finish protective coatings, both air dry and baked, using spray guns and/or brushes u2022 Operating sandblaster or tumble blast equipment for removal of scale, flux, corrosion, and dirt from materials or parts u2022 Fabricating composite structures using carbon fiber material u2022 Setting up, planning, and proving the sequence of operations on injection molding machines and related controls u2022 Monitoring and performing required adjustments to ensure acceptable hardware is produced u2022 Mixing paints, lacquers, and enamels and thinning to consistency stipulated in company or customer specifications u2022 Operating spray painting equipment and performing touch-up and rework with spray gun and/or brushes Why Join Us Do you want to be part of a company culture that encourages employees to build their career, leverage their knowledge while using cutting edge technology, and achieve challenging goals?
