By joining us, you don't justbecome part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue ourrich legacy that started back in 1874.Join us as aArea Sales Manager - ModernizationYour main responsibilitiesThis role can be based in any major metropolitan city throughout the East CoastThe Area Modernization Sales Manager is a senior commercial leader responsible for shaping, driving, and executing the sales strategy for modernization revenue growth across the assigned Area. This role oversees a high performance sales organization, ensures consistent pipeline growth, partners closely with operations to deliver world class modernization outcomes, and will help to define the Area go to market approach for Modernization programs. The Area Modernization Sales Manager serves as the Field Operations owner of modernization sales performance, forecasting accuracy, competitive positioning, and strategic account engagement.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Strategic Leadership - Develop and execute the Area modernization sales strategy aligned with corporate growth goals. - Lead annual planning for the Area with regards to modernization revenue, pricing strategy, portfolio segmentation, and sales resourcing. - Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and technology shifts to identify opportunities and gaps. Sales Management & Performance - Lead, coach, and develop a team of Modernization Sales Professionals across the Area. - Set performance targets, establish KPIs, and ensure consistent execution of the modernization sales process. - Own forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and data quality across CRM tools. - Drive accountability and career development through regular performance reviews and coaching rhythms. Customer & Market Engagement - Build and maintain executive level relationships with key customers, consultants, general contractors, and property owners. - Oversee national account strategies for modernization conversions and multi site portfolio upgrades. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer forums. Cross Functional Partnership - Work closely with Operations, Field Modernization, Engineering, and Finance to ensure proposals are executable, profitable, and aligned with capacity. - Partner with Marketing to refine messaging, collateral, and digital selling tools. - Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to align offerings with customer needs and market evolution (including digital upgrades, IoT solutions, controllers, drives and safety enhancements.What you bringBachelor's degree required 5+ years of sales experience required with experience in elevator modernization sales preferred Minimum of 2 years people leadership experience Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills What's in it for you?- Fully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible compensation.- Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans - Effective from first day of hire.- 3 weeks' vacation which increases with tenure, 7 sick days, 3 floating holidays and8 Company Observed Holidays.- Tuition Reimbursement - Eligible after 6 months of service.- Parental Leave - 100% base pay for 6 consecutive weeks within first year of achild's birth or adoption.- A wide range of development opportunities to boost your professional and leadership growth.We Elevate...
