Technicians will implement safety policies. ResponsibilitiesPerforming entry level testing of High, Medium, and Low electrical powerequipment without the need for direct assistance while still workingwith Sr Technicians. Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, andengineering personnel in order to troubleshoot and solve equipmentproblems and determine optimum equipment functioning. Prepare andmaintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenanceperformed. Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment andcomponents. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Able to pass apre-employment drug screen. Complete a satisfactory criminal backgroundcheck. Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.Must have a valid driver's license and currently have and be able tomaintain a good driving record. Preferred Skills/Abilities: Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Experience with the following:Voltage Verification Contact Resistance Insulation Resistance TestEquipment Set Up Read and Understand One-Line Drawings Understandequipment identification and hazards associated with them Need tounderstand practical application of electrical theory and hazards; LOTO/ Arc Flash / Grounding Reading Electrical Schematics Test mostapparatus without supervision: Breakers, Transformers, CT's, PT's,Cables, & Grounding Education and Experience: Bachelors or AssociatesDegree in Electrical/Electronic technology, or Military experiencepreferred 2 4 Years Relevant Industry Experience NETA II CertifiedPhysical Requirements: Able to climb ladders, stand for extendedperiods, able to lift 70 lbs.
