Technicians will implement safety policies. ResponsibilitiesLead safety briefings on job site, identify, eliminate, or mitigatehazards. Perform High, Medium, and Low voltage testing of electricalpower equipment as a crew leader. Utilize Human Performance ErrorElimination concepts and tools. Consult manuals, schematics, wiringdiagrams, and engineering personnel in order to troubleshoot and solveequipment problems and determine optimum equipment functioning. Prepareand maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenanceperformed. Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment andcomponents. Leader in Safety Culture and responsible for other teammembers. Ability to install, test and maintain electrical apparatus.Understand the theory behind and reason for testing with the ability toanalyze results. Develop and write reports. Qualifications RequiredSkills/Abilities: Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Complete asatisfactory criminal background check. Able to work overtime and travelout of town for periods of time. Must have a valid driver's license andcurrently have and be able to maintain a good driving record. PreferredSkills/Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with the following test equipment: Power Factor Ductor MeggerCT ration & saturation Hi-Pot Knowledge of the following equipment:Circuit Breakers Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, High Voltage LV/MV/HVTransformers Switchgear Motors PT's &CCVT's Education and Experience:Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology, orMilitary experience preferred 5+ Years Relevant Industry Experience NETAIII Certified Industry Certification Programs preferred - e.g. Infrared,Corona, Oil Analysis, Manufacturers, etc. Physical Requirements: Able toclimb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs.
