Position Summary... The Senior Manager, Workersu2019 Compensation at Walmart Claims Services provides strategic leadership over workersu2019 compensation quality, compliance, and operational performance across a complex, high-volume claims environment. This role ensures consistent application of regulatory standards, particularly California Workersu2019 Compensationu2014while driving quality improvement, risk mitigation, and strong claim outcomes. Itu2019s a high-impact opportunity to shape enterprise WC practices and influence how quality and compliance are embedded into day-to-day operations. You will work closely with Claims, Legal, Risk, Finance, Quality and Technology teams to design training content in an electronic format and drive measurable improvements in the claimu2019s lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys strategic thinking and has strong stakeholder influence. About Walmart Claim Services (WCS) Team WCS is dedicated to delivering efficient, accurate, and customer-focused claims management across the enterprise. The organization is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end claims process, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with all regulatory requirements. WCS partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence, mitigate risk, and support Walmartu2019s commitment to integrity and service. What you'll do... + Lead workersu2019 compensation quality and compliance strategy across intake, investigation, medical management, RTW, and jurisdictional requirements. + Ensure consistent application of California Workersu2019 Compensation regulations , identifying risks, trends, and compliance gaps. + Establish audit frameworks, QA standards, and performance metrics to improve claim quality and outcomes. + Partner with Claims, Legal, Risk, Finance, and Technology to drive process improvements and corrective actions.
